Tasks & Responsabilities:
- Offline data analysis and processing for our mood-based music recommender engine
- Planning and development of real time approaches for recommendation and personalization

Required Skills & experience:
- Proficient in data analysis, processing and mining techniques
- Familiar with graph-based data structures and techniques (OrientDB, Neo4j, etc.)
- Proficient in DB4 (MySQL/SQL), NoSQL and Big Data structures
- Familiar with Big Data processing techniques, e.g. Map-Reduce
- Familiar with item-based and user-based recommender systems

- R&D planning
- Collaborating in planning, developing, testing and fine tuning of the music recommendation engine
- Prototyping and development of a mood-based automatic music classification system
- Analysis of Stereomood website database for MIR (Music Information Retrieval) purposes
- Planning and development of a music-related semantic analysis system

Required skills & experience:

- Proficient in information retrieval, semantic analysis, NLP (natural language processing) and text mining
