how can i listen to the music on stereomood?
there are many different ways to listen to music on and with stereomood.
listen by mood and activities
our main purpose is to suggest the user the playlist that best suits their mood and their activities: the different tagcloud tags of the homepage return to specific playlists ready to use by a simple click on it. uppercase tags are the activities playlists (for example "DINNER WITH FRIENDS"), lowercase ones are the mood playlists (for example "happy").
you can listen to that playlists by the default order or by a random ones by clicking the "shuffle the tracks" icon
next to playlist title. you can also make a research with the search box next to the stereomood logo, searching by mood or activities, with a default options. after that research you reach a result page with all the items found. choose to listen every single items or play all the results by clicking the "play all" button.
listen by artist, track, album, keyword
even if the main stereomood purpose is to spread mood and activities playlists, you can also listen to your favourite music by a specific artist or a track. you can do that with the search box next to the stereomood logo, searching for your favourite music. after that research you reach a result page with all the items found. choose to listen every single items or play all the results by clicking "play all" button.
keep a watch to the two boxes into the left column too: the first one suggests you three artists representative of the mood your are listening to; the second one the representative ones of the activity.
in order to use the first two listening ways you don't need the registration or the login.
listen to my library
in order to listen to your library you have to be registred or logged to stereomood. tracks list on your library are reachable both by clicking on your avatar selection tooltip and through the menu voices in your dashboard. choose to listen every single items or play all the results by clicking the "play all" button.
listen to my personal playlists
in order to listen to your personal playlists you have to be registered or logged to stereomood and have created at least one playlist. the list of your playlist are reachable both by clicking on your avatar selection tooltip and through the menu voices in your dashboard. you can listen to that just by clicking on it.
listen to the library and the users playlists
in order to listen to the library and the playlists of the users you have to be registered or logged to stereomood. into the left boxes in your dashboard you can see the users closer to your mood and activities. by clicking on them you access the related dashboard and you can navigate through the profile or listen to the library and the playlists.

how can i create mood and activities playlists?
the playlists are generated starting with the users tag. the visualization order of every single track into the playlist is due to an average between the tag numbers and the date of issue of track itself.

i desagree with the tag of a track, can i add it others?
absolutely yes! with your brand new tag you will contribute to increase stereomood value and our quality service. in order to tag the tracks you have to be registered or logged to stereomood. tracks can be tagged by clicking the related icon
when you are listening a playlist, or by the corresponding link through the tools icon
when you are viewing a search results. a new dialog window will appear and you could insert one or more tag separated by comma: you could choose from the existing or create a brand new ones. if they will be sufficiently shared you will find them on the main homepage tagcloud.

how do i buy a track i like?
all the tracks on stereomood can be purchase at the Itunes Music Store or on Amazon simply use the related icon
or by the corresponding link through the tools icon
when you are viewing a search results.

where the tracks i'm listening to coming from?
the stereomood tracks coming from a selection of the best international music blogs: if a post contains an MP3 link, it adds those links to our database and display them on the frontpage. each related post can be reach simply by clicking on the "read full post" link below the track description.

how can i inform you of a low quality track?
simply use the "report low quality" link below the song description.

how do i scrobble the music i listen to at stereomood through last.fm?
stereomood now scrobbles through last.fm. go to your profile page and click the connect link in the last.fm box. you'll be redirected to a page asking permission to allow scrobbling. Say yes and you're done - you can now scrobble in real time on your existing last.fm account and let everyone know what you're listening to!

is the registration free?
yes, stereomood registration is totally free.

which are the information i need to register?
in order to register from first you need to choose a valid username and a password, then a valid email necessary to receive the email you need to validate your stereomood account. as an alternative use the OpenID box with your ID identification, if you already have one.

what can i do if i forgot my password, email, username?
if you forgot the password you can require a new one using the password reset form: enter your email and you will receive your new password. if you forgot the email write us at support@stereomood.com or fill the form in the contact us page.
please remember to tell us your username, date of birth and any email address you might have used for signing up for verification to help prevent a fraudulent reset password request.

i want to delete my account, how do i do that?
in order to remove your account, you need to use the delete account form. enter your password and confirm you want to delete it.

how are the supported format to create my avatar?
the valid format are .gif, .jpg, .png, as long as they not go beyond 1 megabyte. animatef gif image are not supported yet.

what are "moments" and how can i manage them?
"moments" tell about you and your best memories made even more memorable by a specific track. filling the proper form, you can tell us what were you was listening during your memorable moments.
you can write as much moments as you want but it's not possible to input more than 1000 characters each.

can i change my profile information?
in order to modify your profile you need to go on your profile page and fill again the proper fields.
library and playlists
In order to see, add tracks, manage and modify your library you have to be registered or logged to stereomood.

you can do that both from the search result page and from the player page: in the first case simply use the related "add" link by clicking on the tools icon

how can i create a new playlist?
you can do that in two different ways: by clicking on the "create new playlist" link next to the playlist page title on your dashboard or by clicking on the "create new playlist" link into the dialog window that it's been open when you add a track to the library.

how can i add tracks to my playlists?
you can do that both from the search result page and from the player page: in the first case simply use the related "add" link by clicking on the tools icon
into the related module track you want to add to a playlist, in the second use the "add" icon
both next to the music player and into each module track. it will pop up a new dialog window in which you can choose one, more or a new playlist to add the track into.

how can i modify name and tracks order of my playlist?
you can do that by clicking on the "edit" link into each module playlist in the playlist page on your dashboard. then you can change the playlist name simply clicking on the name itself introducing a new one; you can change the track order just dragging up and down each module track; you can delete one track by clicking on the "delete" link. don't forget to save all the changing you made by clicking on the "save" button!

how can i recommend your website and invite my friend on stereomood?
in order to do that you have to be registered or logged to stereomood. simply use the "invite" link from the top right menu, it will pop up a new dialog window in which you can invite your friends both fill in the emails, separated by comma, and use the Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, FriendFeed, Delicious and Stumbleupon application.

in order to do that you have to be registered or logged to stereomood. simply use the related "share" link next to each playlist title on your playlists page.

can i add new tracks to stereomood?
absolutely yes: you will increase the stereomood quality by reporting new songs. in order to do that you have to be registered or logged to stereomood.
you can submit a track with the submit form you reach by clicking on the "submit" link from the top right menu. you can only add files with .mp3 extension.

i've a music blog, how can i submit songs on stereomood?
you can do that with the "mood it" button
. you can provide your site visitors an easy way to save it to stereomood. take a look at the resources page for further informations.
abuse

which kind of abuses can i report?
if you think a track violate your or your favourite artist rights you can inform us by clicking on the "report abuse" link and compiling the proper form.

what kind of measures my report lead to?
your report will lead to a review of the suggested material by the support team. if your report is truthful, we will remove the track and, in bad case, we will ban the user who made the submit.

which are the supported stereomood web browsers?
we've tested the website with Firefox 3 and 2, Safari 3 and Internet Explorer 7 and we recommend you to use these ones.
of course you can use any other ones, but bear in mind we don't test all the stereomood features on the all internet browser (there are many of them!) and we cannot assuring a good service in case of problems with little known ones. anyway, if you use a different ones, we will always do our best to fix the bugs you will flag us.

i have problems with the stereomood music player. why?
