how can i listen to the music on stereomood?
there are many different ways to listen to music with stereomood.listen by mood and activities
based on our main purpose, our suggestion is that you choose the playlist that best suits your mood and activities: the different tags on the homepage link to specific playlists ready to use with a simple click. uppercase tags are the activities playlists (for example "DINNER WITH FRIENDS") and lowercase tags are the mood playlists (for example "happy").
you can listen to playlists by the default order or to random playlists by clicking the "shuffle the tracks" icon
next to playlist title. you can also search for your favourite music with the search box next to the stereomood logo. The search function can look for moods, activities, your library, users or the entire site. you can choose to listen to individual items or play all the results by clicking the "play all" button.

the purpose of stereomood is to spread mood and activities playlists. you can also listen to your favourite music by a specific artist or a track. to do this, use the search box next to the stereomood logo. you can choose to listen to individual items or play all the results by clicking the "play all" button.
keep an eye on the two boxes in the left column too: the first one suggests you three artists representative of the mood your are listening to; the second one the representative ones of the activity. in order to use the first two listening ways you don't need the registration or the login.listen to my library
in order to listen to your library you need to be registered or logged in to stereomood. tracks listed in your library are reachable both by hovering on your avatar and selecting my library or through the menu choices on the left side of your dashboard. you can choose to listen to individual items or play all the results by clicking the "play all" button.listen to my personal playlists

in order to listen to the library and the playlists of the users you need to be registered or logged to stereomood. Using the boxes on the left side of your dashboard, you can see the users closest to your mood and activities. by clicking on other users you can navigate through their profile or listen to their library and the playlists. .

how can i create mood and activities playlists?
playlists are generated starting with the users tag. . the tracks within the playlist are ordered based on an average between the tag numbers and the date of issue of the track itself. -
i disagree with the tag of a track, can i add it others?
absolutely yes! with your brand new tag you will contribute to stereomood's value and our quality ofservice. in order to tag the tracks you should be to registered and logged in to stereomood. tracks can be tagged by clicking the related icon
when you are listening a playlist, or by the corresponding link through the tools icon
when you are viewing a search results. a new dialog window will appear and you may insert one or more tags separated by a comma: you can choose from the existing tags or create a brand new ones. if they are sufficiently shared, you will find them on the main homepage . - how can i customize my listening?

how do i buy a track i like?
all the tracks on stereomood can be purchase at the Itunes Music Store or on Amazon by simply using the related icon or by using the corresponding link through the tools icon
when you are viewing a search results. -
where the tracks i'm listening to coming from?
the stereomood tracks come from a selection of the best international music blogs. if a post contains an MP3 link, it adds those links to our database and displays them on the frontpage. each related post can be reach simply by clicking on the "read full post" link below the post excerpt. -
how do i scrobble the music i listen to at stereomood through last.fm?
stereomood now scrobbles through your last.fm account. go to your profile page and click the connect link in the last.fm box. you'll be redirected to a page asking permission to allow scrobbling. Say yes and you're done - you can now scrobble in real time on your existing last.fm account and let everyone know what you're listening to!

is the registration free?
yes, stereomood registration is totally free. -
which are the information do i need to register?
in order to register, you will need to choose a valid username and a password and a valid email (in order to receive the email you need the validation email activate your stereomood account. as an alternative, you may use the facebook connect function. -

what can i do if i forgot my password, email, username?
if you forgot the password you can request a new one using the password reset form: enter your email and you will receive your new password. if you forgot wich email you used, write us at support@stereomood.com or fill the form in the contact us page.
please remember to tell us your username, date of birth and any email address you might have used for signing up for verification. this is to help prevent a fraudulent reset password request. -
how can i change my password?
in order to change your password, enter your email into the password reset form. -
how can i change my username?

i want to delete my account, how do i do that?
in order to remove your account, you need to use the delete account form. enter your password and confirm you want to delete it.

how do i personalize my avatar?
you can upload a picture that is in a valid format. the valid formats are .gif, .jpg, and .png. they may not go beyond 1 MB animated gif image are not supported yet. . -
what are "moments" and how can i manage them?
"moments" tell us about how your best memories were made even more memorable by a specific track.by filling out the proper form, you can tell us what were you was listening during your memorable moments.
you can write as much moments as you want but each moment is limited to 1000 characters. -
can i change my profile information?
in order to modify your profile you need to go on your profile page and fill out the proper fields.
library and playlists
In order to see your library or playlists, add tracks and manage or modify your library, you have to be registered and logged to stereomood.-
how can i add a track to my library?
you can add a track to your library either from a search result page or from the player page, simply use the "add" link by clicking on the tools icon
to the right track title or use the "add" icon
next to the music player or below each track title. -
how can i delete tracks from my library?
you can delete tracks from your library by clicking on the "remove" link into each module track. -
how can i create a new playlist?
you can create a new playlist in two different ways. either click on the "create new playlist" link next to the playlist page title on your dashboard, or click on the "create new playlist" link in the dialog window that it's been open when you add a track to the library. -
how can i add tracks to my playlists?
you can add tracks to your playlists either from the search result page or from the player page. in the first case simply use the "add" link by clicking on the tools icon
next to the track you want to add to a playlist, in the second use the "add" icon
next to the music player or next to the track you want to add to a playlist. a new dialog window will pop up, where you can choose one or more playlist. you can also choose to create a new playlist to add the track to. -
how can i modify name of my playlist and the order of my tracks?
you can make these changes by clicking on the "edit" link next to the chosen playlist in the playlist page on your dashboard. from there, you can change the playlist name simply clicking on the name itself and typing a new one. you can change the track order by just dragging each track up and down each the page. to remove a track, click on the "delete" link. don't forget to save all of your changes by clicking on the "save" button!

how can i recommend your website and invite my friend on stereomood?
in order to recommend our site, you should be registered or logged in to stereomood. simply use the "invite" link from the top right menu. a new dialog window will pop up where you can invite your friends. fill in the emails, separated by a comma or use the Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, FriendFeed, Delicious and Stumbleupon application. -
how can i recommend a track?
in order to recommend a track it is not necessary to be registered or logged to stereomood.
when you are listening a playlist simply use Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, icons found under the audio player or click to share button to use the other social networks, email service and embedded link.
when you are viewing a search result, use the corresponding link through the tools icon. it will pop up a new dialog window in which you can invite your friends both fill in the emails, separated by comma, and use the social networks application. -
can i present one of my playlists?
in order to do share one of your playlists, you should be registered or logged to stereomood. simply use the related "share" link next to each playlist title on your playlists page.

can i add new tracks to stereomood?
absolutely yes: you will increase the stereomood quality by reporting new songs. in order to do that you should be registered or logged in to stereomood. you can submit a track with the submit form you reach by clicking on the "submit" link from the top right menu. you can only add files with .mp3 extension. -
i've a music blog, how can i submit songs on stereomood?
you can do that with the "mood it" button
. you can provide your site visitors an easy way to save it to stereomood. take a look at the resources page for further informations.
abuse

which kind of abuses can i report?
if you think a track violates the rights of you or your favourite artist, please inform us by clicking on the "report abuse" link and compiling the proper form. -
what kind of measures my report lead to?
your report will lead to a review of the suggested material by the support team. if your report is truthful, we will remove the track. in the worst case, we will ban the user who made the submission.

which are the supported stereomood web browsers?
we've tested the website with Firefox (2, 3, 3.5, 4, 5) Safari, Chrome and Internet Explorer (7, 8 ,9) and we recommend you use these browsers.
of course you can use any others, but bear in mind we don't test all the stereomood features on the all internet browser (there are many of them!) and we cannot ensure the full and best experience if you are using another browsers tha those we have listed. if you choose to use a different browser, we will always do our best to fix the bugs if you flag us. -
should the cookies be enabled for access to stereomood?
yes, you need to have enabled cookies to enter the website. -
i have problems with the stereomood music player. why?
